Rebook an appointment

Make the most of the time your child has been given. There is little opportunity to rebook the time for the skill test.

In case of illness

There are a few reserved times for if a child should become ill at the time of the test.

Preparations

Prepare your child by talking through the meaning of doing a skills test.

  • Our music teachers are experienced and can "hear through" both hoarseness and nervousness.
  • Two to five people listen to the applicant during the individual test.
  • The test may not be perceived as "easy". As there are many who apply to Adolf Fredrik's music classes, the exercises during the test increase in difficulty. Not having "passed" all the exercises does not mean that you have done a bad test.
  • Music teachers who sit and listen do not say "good" or other appreciative words during the test.
  • There are a limited number of places. Your child may have passed a test and still not be accepted.
